2008 OFFICERS, DIRECTORS & CHAPTERS

Each October, the Section members elect a Second Vice-President and two new members to the Board of Directors. The Second Vice-President becomes First Vice-President the following year and then President. Board members are elected to three year terms of office. The election is conducted through the mail.  A list of Past Section Presidents is available.

The Treasurer is appointed by the Board and must be a resident of the State of Oregon since that is where the Section is Incorporated. The Secretary is appointed by the current President. The Newsletter Editors serve at the pleasure of the Board of Directors.

Additionally, the Section has several committees to help in the conduct of the Section. Committee positions are appointed by the President from among the membership. At the Section level, some of the more active committees include Student Affairs (college and high school), Membership, Fund Raising, Business and Financial Affairs, and others as needed.
