PNW Section Annual Meeting, Merritt BC, 1-3 October

The BC Chapter knows how to put on a good Fall Meeting. Ashley Tod of the BC
Chapter reports that sixty-six registered for the tour and meeting. They even provided
excellent weather for the field tour. About 70 attended the tour which included stops at
the Laurie Guichon Memorial Grassland with an excellent group of speakers, at the
Beaver Ranch where Haley Rutherford spoke of ranch owner objectives and concerns,
and at the Rafter P Ranch where electric fencing and rotational grazing were the main
topics.
The Tuesday evening social hosted by Empty Keg Brewhouse and the Wednesday
banquet hosted by Game On Sports Bar And Grill were both well attended and the food
was excellent.
