Wendy Gardner announces that although the SRM summer and fall tours were put on hold this year because of Covid-19, there is still a lot of great range research being conducted and SRM members that would love to stay connected and informed. So the BC Chapter has decided to host a webinar series in fall 2020 starting Sept 22 and running for 6 weeks on Tuesdays (alternating between 12pm and 7 pm PT each week). The webinar series is to showcase the research of young professionals and students in the field of Range Management in the PNW Section. Each 30 minute webinar will feature one, 15 minute presentation, followed by time for questions and discussions. If you are interested in presenting your research, please send an abstract and your preference for dates to BC Chapter SRM by August 7th. Once the schedule is filled we will be sharing details with the PNW membership on how they can log-in to attend any of the talks. We look forward to “seeing” you virtually this fall.
